From Paris with Love (2010)Two agents. One city. No merci.
John Travolta, Pierre Morel, Luc Besson and Jonathan Rhys Meyers take you on a ride with this action thriller that takes place in Paris France. There is a terrorist plot that must be stopped at all costs so the US sends in their last line of defense. Their last line also has happens to be their best line of defense. A young embassy employee that is not qualified as special operations is teams up with this tough American spy sent to stop the terrorists. Played by John Travolta, operative Charlie Wax does things a little different than his young partner played by Jonathan. As the action picks up and things start getting blown up and people start dieing James, the embassy employee decides that things are not being done by the book.
Although they make a great pair for the mission, they are constantly at each others throats. James doesn't like the way Charlie is doing things so messy and Charlie don't like James's weakness. The movie is all about spoiling a terrorists plot and once the action starts it hardly even slows down let alone stops. This is a good movie to go see with friends at anytime of the year. You will enjoy the fight scenes if you like martial arts and alternative fighting. Travolta shows that he has more than just good looks in this movie; he also has what it takes to be an action star. From explosions to spying to fights and combat this movie has it all and will take you on an action packed ride. Don't miss this one or you will be behind on the changes that are taking place with John Travolta and his movie rows. There is truly a different take on his acting in this one.
Starring: John Travolta, Jonathan Rhys Meyers
